My name is Madisson Wisher.  I'm 23, born in Charlotte, NC and moved around for a while, then ended up back in Charlotte for the majority of middle school and high school.   I gave my life to Christ in 2007 and have been following Him as best as I can since.

I have six siblings, four brothers and two sisters., whom I love dearly.  I also have the most beautiful neice who has stolen my heart!

I have some of the most amazing friends from so many different places!  God has really blessed me with a variety of people to learn from in life and I'm so thankful!

Some amazing people!  Roommates, best friends, practically brothers and sisters.

I graduated from Clemson University in May 2009 with a B.S in Psychology, Minor in Athletic Leadership, a Concentration in Pre-rehabilitional sciences and all intentions of becoming a Physical Therapist.  Fortunately for me, God had bigger plans for my life.  I worked at Disney World for 5 months, then was blessed with the opportunity to serve in the Pacific Rim for four months.  I had never realized how much of a challenge it would truly be to live overseas and serve for an extended period of time, I can't say I loved every thing about it, but God used me!!

After coming home from there, I was desperate for God to send me back out, but instead He called me to stay home.  I was not excited about spending months at home, but I've never grown so much in my walk with God in such a short time.  I was really able to dig into His word and study the lives of missionaries and learn so much.  Currently, I'm serving in San Francisco with an Urban Ministry program learning about homelessness and leading teams around the city to different ministry sites.  Once again, God has shown me how to love His people and value them, not as sinners, but as children in bondage to sin.

Still my heart has been longing to be sent out to the nations that have never heard His name…and I've finally gotten the chance!  I'm so excited about this journey to see how Christ's hands and feet are already at work and maybe even find a place I want to live permanently.
