A few days ago, I was having a good conversation with a close friend of mine. In the middle of our talk, he asked me a simple question. He asked “Why are you going on this mission trip?” This wasn’t my first time being asked this question and I found myself leaning towards an almost automatic response of how God had very clearly called me to go on a long term mission trip; however, the holy spirit brought out a much deeper reply. First and foremost, I am going on the World Race Gap Year because I am very confident that’s what God has in store for me for the next season of my life. Contributing to that, the Lord has giving me a heart for serving. I am doing to the World Race to be obedient to God and spread the Gospel across the nations. I am looking forward to giving people in the most hopeless of situations the everlasting hope of Jesus Christ.
In the mean time, I continue to need lots of prayer in regards to fundraising and heart preparation! I don’t know exactly how it’s going to happen, but I know the Lord will be faithful in providing!
Have a great day & thank you for reading!
