I was lost.

…until about 2 months ago.

It was the day I decided that I was going to do the World Race. I didn’t like the life I was living. I have so much love to give, but whom should I give it too?

The world race has always been in my mind, but fear and inconvenient life plans seemed to hold me back. It was time to surrender to something bigger than myself—despite fear, financials and even FOMO (fear of missing out).

What type of world would you like to say you live in? For me, I’d like to believe we live in a world where basic needs are given to every person— wouldn’t you say that’s a fundamental human right? Unfortunately for some people a meal, or even shoes are difficult to come by.

The world race is an 11-month mission trip to 11 different countries. In each country I will be assigned a ministry. Ministry is different in each place depending on that countries needs. In some countries I will be rebuilding homes, provide counseling to sex trafficking victims, teaching English or feeding the poor. There are several forms of ministry.

This path is not easy. Look, I NEED YOU! I need your help to fulfill this calling. I want you to be part of my world race to change lives across the globe. My goal is to fundraise 16,600. Your donation which is tax deductible will go towards my trip and spread an immense amount of joy to the people I will help along this journey.

Over the next few months I will be holding fundraising events, all proceeds will go to this cause! Whether it is a monthly donation of $25, a one time donation or support by spreading this to people you know, helping (any way you can) means the world to me. (Also, feel free to subscribe to my blog to follow the journey).

The feeling of being “lost” still hasn’t fully subsided. Fundraising, spreading the word and seeking support has been a roller-coaster, but now I’m starting to see the path. What’s to come isn’t clear but I’m ready for this journey with an open heart and mind.
