My name is Madeline Alvarez, I’m 22 years old from Miami, Florida! I go to university of Miami, and graduate in December. I haven’t always lived in Miami, I use to go to college in Washington, DC. I lived there three years!
For years I have dedicated time to volunteering around Miami. Boys and Girls Club, Camillus House, Mercy Hospital, Miami Children’s Museum, and now Make-A-Wish Foundation– I love volunteering, it truly brings me joy. The cause closest to my heart is children, I hope to impact the lives of children across the globe on The World Race.
I’m cuban, so its safe to assume I have a big cuban family with lots of cousins. I have three brothers, and I’m the baby of the fam! Luckily, growing up with boys has made me pretty tough– “roughing it” is never a problem, especially when traveling which I think will come in handy when I start the world race!
