This is where we are staying.  Communication lines running about our heads, high buildings, tons of people, lots of shops… a dizzying environment that never stops.
Well, we had to celebrate Amanda’s birthday in style– with a GIANT burger!
So far, we’ve volunteered a lot with orphans.
After a day spent out exploring the city with one of my new Vietnamese friends, I find that this is Vietnam…
 
And we hang out with and make friends with the local college students.
The Vietnam War (or American War as they say) leaves a BIG sting even today.  
This is at the infamous Cu Chi Tunnels.
Because of all the logistics work Julia and I do, we got a weekend off to explore the Mekong Delta.  
Ask me later about how it took me 10 minutes to remember how to ride a bike.  I’m a lil worried about driving a car soon.

The floating market- where people get up at 3am to go buy their fruits & veggies.
Buddhism mixed with a little Hindu is the religion of choice here (90%).
