Hey friends and family,
I would just like to give an update about my World Race Mission Trip and let you know about a couple of changes that are happening. A lot of prayer and consideration has gone into this decision. I have also consulted the World Race administration and close friends and family. I was a little late in the game signing up for the September trip and due to many reasons such as camp ending and the craziness of life after camp I am moving my launch date to January 2016.
This will give me the adequate amount of time to raise the funds and become more prepared on my end for the trip. I didn’t want to rush into something too quickly and it become a stressful process instead of an exciting and growing experience. I am so so excited about this trip and can’t wait for January. Time until then will not be wasted. I will be working at Skipstone and other odd and end jobs to raise money myself for the trip while also praying and trusting the Lord for every penny that people feel called to donate.
With this decision and with the World Race comes a lot of goals I have to set for myself and one of these is asking 100 people to donate $25.00 towards the mission and with this I would easily make my first goal of $2,500.00 by July 31st. I am also throwing out the opportunity for myself to do any work for any individuals such as (mowing lawns or any yard work, babysitting, cleaning homes, detailed car cleaning, etc).
