To those who have been a significant part of my life one way or another,

Hello. I hope you are well. I am thankful for this opportunity to share with you what is going on in my life as well as a little bit of my heart. I have for a few years now, desired to be a part of God’s ministry over seas but felt as though God was telling me to wait and be patient. And I knew my heart desired missions but failed to find anything similar to what I truly felt like I wanted to do. I had recently discovered through a friend what that might be. I learned of an organization called Adventures In Missions (AIM). AIM has put together a short-term mission trip called The World Race. I decided to apply and got accepted! I am preparing and planning to leave in January of 2010.

It is 11 countries in 11 months and each month I am serving through a ministry that AIM has set up in that country in a community. I will serve in many ways whether it be helping build a church or serving in an orphanage while sharing the love of Christ and getting the opportunity to talk about Jesus. I long to be a part of God’s work while discovering how infinite God is and how vast his world is.

God has provided me with this opportunity and calling and I can only pray that he will guide each step of the way before, during, and after The World Race. I pray and I ask you to pray that his will be done and that I respond to Him selflessly. Obviously, to do something such as this, I need you. I need you to support me prayerfully and financially if you are willing and able. I do not deserve this opportunity but God has provided it and for that I thank Him. I ask that if you feel led, please commit to pray continually or commit to support me financially. The cost of The World Race is $13,800 for the 11 months and it covers: meals, lodging, air, land, and sea travel, administrative costs, coaching costs, debriefing costs, and training costs.

I have enclosed a response card and pre-addressed envelope, which invites you to share in this ministry. Please make checks payable to Adventures In Missions. Including the enclosed card will provide AIM with all necessary information. In turn, they will send you a receipt. They request that you send all donations by _______________. Adventures In Missions is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Donors will receive receipts for their gifts with the understanding that the disbursement of those gifts lies completely at the discretion of Adventures In Missions and that the gifts are non-refundable and non-transferable, per IRS regulations. Gifts may be tax deductible; please consult a tax advisor

I am eager to seek God in this whole process and grow closer to Him before, during, and after this experience. I am excited that God is allowing me to be a part of this. I hope to learn and transform throughout this entire process. I hope you will prayerfully consider being a part of this ministry. Thank you so much for what you have done for me in the past and what you may do in the future.

Sincerely,

           Lyndsie Neie
