While we were in the Philippines, there was a lady that my
team and I talked to almost everyday.
Her name was Judith and she worked at a small store near the hotel that
we lived in for the month.  The
main item that we bought from her store was Coca-Cola!  She always had a bottle and straws
ready for us…she even gave us a discount or a free Coke every once in a while.

I wrote a blog about how we had gotten to pray with Judith
and share with her why we were there and how God had changed our lives!  She was so excited to see us everyday
and even more excited when we asked to pray for her and her family.  She listened intently to everything
that we had to say and tried, in broken English, to tell us how much our visits
meant to her.

She was probably one of the hardest people that I have had
to say goodbye to in the last 8 months, but I knew as we left that we had
planted seeds in her heart.
She was seriously thinking about what we had told her about God, Jesus,
and being “born again.â€
Judith really wanted to be born again, to surrender her life to Jesus,
but she did not think that her husband would accept it…and if her husband
didn’t, then she could not either.

At the beginning of this month, Judith sent me an
email.

Judith was very excited to tell me that she had
become a believer!

The email did not say anything about the rest of her family,
but it was so encouraging to see that those seeds planted several months ago
had now produced fruit.
Judith is a very bubbly, encouraging woman and I am sure that her faith
will be contagious in her home, at her work place, and anywhere else she goes!
Sometimes, as we are only in each country for one month we don’t often get to
see the “fruit of our labor.â€  In
this rare case we were able to, and it was so wonderful to see how God works…in
His own timing, even through Coca-Cola!
