As we have traveled from Malaysia to Thailand in the last
couple of days, we have taken every form of transportation imaginable.  Yesterday we rode on a train for 13
hours to meet some of the other teams in a different city called
Butterworth.  This morning we
walked about ½ of a mile to the bus stop, hopped on a bus for about ½ an hour,
floated on a ferry for another ½ hour, took another bus which took us to the
airport, then got on a 1hr and 45 minute flight to Bangkok, Thailand!  It has been a wild ride, but we are
finally here.  Praise the Lord!

Please be in prayer for our teams as we minister here this
month.

Abba Father,

Go before us and prepare the hearts of the people that we
will meet and share Your Word and love with.  Ready our own hearts and minds as well.  Give us wisdom to know what to speak
and when to do so.  I pray that our
actions and our words would reflect You.
My desire is that Your Holy Spirit would do supernatural things in us
and through us that no one can deny and that display Your power to those around
us in an incredible way.

Amen.

This is a verse that God has been bringing me back to a lot
in the last week or so.   It
reminds me so much of all of the idol worship in Malaysia and also in Thailand.

“Like a
scarecrow in a melon patch, their idols cannot speak; they must be carried
because they cannot walk. Do not fear them; they can do no harm nor can they do
any good. No one is like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in
power. Who should not revere you, O King of the nations? This is your due. Among
all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like
you.

Jeremiah 10:5-7

If you are
reading this blog, could you just post up a prayer or verse of encouragement
for our team this month!  It would
be so great to hear from you!
