  4. Some people really have no address, you ride around in the taxi until they finally drive by your home
  5. You will go to bed most nights sticky and hot
  6. There are a lot of dangerous situations that africans view as safe or totally fine
  7. If you think a bathroom is bad… wait a week you’ll find one worse
  8. Sugarcane off the street is better than candy you buy in stores
  9. Coffee to them is a thick syrup or a powder you mix in
  10. Milk and eggs are usually not refrigerated
  11. The majority of people don’t speak English
  12. If you are from America you are assumed to have a lot of money
  13. WC means water closet (that’s the bathroom) In Africa you have to pay to go to the bathroom in a hole and bring your own toilet paper.
  14. Muslims are prevalent
  15. Truly good internet is a rare blessing

Living in Africa for the last few months has been a blessing. I have enjoyed living with locals and seeing God’s work in their lives. Eye spy is one of the best games to play here. Eye spy an ambulance being toed, eye spy a lady carrying a 100 pound bag of charcoal on her head, eye spy children running around with large knives. Thank you Africa for making no day the same.
