My name is Lydia Grace Neumann. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon and have lived in the beautiful Northwest ever since. I was raised in a loving home with two older sisters by parents who love Jesus. Ever since I was little, I wanted to be a missionary in Guatemala. (My dream is finally coming true!)
Activities that I enjoy, include hanging out with friends, playing the piano(which I tend to use as a form of worship), hiking, backpacking, swimming, kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing and just soaking in the outdoors. Most of those, I like doing with people!
I enjoy hanging out with my family whenever I can. My two sisters, Kelsey and Cassandra are both married and Kelsey and her husband Ted adopted a sibling group of 4 from Uganda, this year. I never get enough of my nieces and nephews. They are my favorite mini people! Cassandra just got married this spring and I am so grateful to have her husband Brad as my new brother-in-law!
I studied at a community college in Dental Assisting and have worked in the Dental field for 3 years. I love my job and I also volunteer with an local organization that mobilizes churches to be Jesus to the community through medical and dental clinics. It is wonderful to use my skills for the benefit of others and to spread the love of Jesus!
I love people! Each person has a story and I greatly enjoy getting to know people's story! I'm excited to get to know more people this coming year during the Race!
