Okay, I lied. The World Race ends in just 10 days and I really have no choice but to finish and I am striving to finish strong.

But my race isn't really over.

"Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us." -Hebrews 12:1

So don't stop praying and don't stop reading!

I'M NOT DONE YET!

As I was talking with God the other day He told me that the World Race was just a prelude. A glimpse and sample of what the rest of my life will be like. A life of worship, intimacy and adventure with God.

Blogging is definitely not a ministry I would choose for myself, but God has put it on my heart to continue to do it. I like the idea that through blogging my ministry extends beyond the things I do day to day. It reaches to those back home and to people I don't even know.

Over the next few weeks I will be transitioning from this WR blog to my own. If you would like to subscribe, do it! (Although if you are already subscribed to this one, you might mysteriously find yourself subscribed to the new one…)

And one more thing. Please don't wince as much at reading this as I am at writing it…

I am not done raising support. As I have mentioned, I am planning to return to Honduras at the end of February/beginning of March. Soon I will be able to give detailed information, but I am estimating needing to raise around $3500. If you would like to donate before the year is over for tax purposes or for a Christmas gift, for the time being you can write checks and send them to the following address. Please make sure to designate for what purpose you would like the money to be used (Personal may be used before the trip for living expenses in the US, Ministry will be used solely for expenses while overseas).

Thank you to every person who has read my stories, prayed, commented, shared and supported me this year. I can't even articulate how blessed and thankful I am. I hope you as well continue to be blessed by what God has to say through me and by taking part with me in the work of His Kingdom.
