Similar to how Captain Planet needed the Planeteers to combine their powers, I need you to help me reach my next fundraising goal.

I have a goal to raise $4000 by the 25th of September. Which means I need 40 people to give $50. I know that’s a close date and I trust that The Lord can provide and that you can help.

I haven’t been worried about my fundraising. Not because I don’t understand that $17,000 isn’t a lot of money, but because one of the things Jesus said to do was “worry not.” Andy Stanley did a whole sermon (on) Jesus’ teaching of worry not and I really enjoyed it.

However, I realize that trusting The Lord doesn’t mean sitting around waiting for an angel to deliver a check to my front door. It means asking and expecting him to show up. Not asking for help would not only mean that I didn’t trust The Lord to come through, but it would also mean I would be taking away a chance for you to come closer to The Father by trusting him as provider.

So I’m going to ask again that you trust The Lord as provider by donating $50 to my race. Because after all,
