Great is thy faithfulness, that was my Facebook status update earlier today as I sat in Starbucks. Drinking my coffee while reading and killing time before work, that old hymn came on and it reminded me of how good God is. No matter what the struggle is, He is faithful and just. You don’t always avoid tough times, tough times are there for you to see the faithfulness of God and the. You can say to others, “Look what happened to me and how God came through!” Whether it’s sickness, family troubles, financial woes, doubt, it doesn’t matter. Sometimes there will be miracles and you won’t suffer, but I would rather suffer a little while and then see deliverance. How great a testimony to have!! That is one of my prayers as I prepare for the World Race; strength to endure, and faith to be obedient to God’s word. Each and every moment is a learning opportunity. Lord, let me continue to be teachable as I lean on your everlasting arms.
