I’ve reached that point. I knew this day was coming and I have been dreading it for months now. This is the point when my final support deadline is less than a week away and I am still short on funds. Since starting to fundraise about a year ago, I have raised $13,715; however, I still have $2570 to go to be fully funded by the end of February. I have been dreading this moment because I knew it would come; I knew God would want me to rely fully on Him and not just on my own efforts to make this trip happen. But, to be honest, I don’t like it. I don’t like uncertainty and I don’t like not being in control. Good thing I worship an all-powerful God who is always in control.
So, I ask you (yes you, reading this), will you consider making a onetime contribution to my trip by clicking on the Support Me button on the left of this page? Will you tell your friends, your family members, your co-workers, your roommates about my trip? Will you share this blog on Facebook, on Twitter, on your own blog? Will you join me in prayer to stir the hearts of people to help fund my trip and my teammates’?
