Hello! I thought I would take a blog post to explain my fundraising goals and summarize the different methods you can use to provide financial support for my World Race trip. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions!

I need to raise $15,500 in my World Race account by February of 2014, with several deadlines between now and then. The money does not go directly through me but is managed by Adventures in Missions, the organization in charge of the World Race. This amount will cover all of my costs on the field during the race. It seems like a lot of money to raise, but considering that I will be living off of that amount for almost a year makes it seem quite reasonable! I pray that I will be able to raise the full amount before I leave in September of 2013 so that I do not have to worry about money while on the race.

Here are three options if you are interested in making a donation:

  1. Credit Card/Debit Card: This is the simplest way to donate. All you have to do is click the “Support Me” link on the left of this blog and follow the instructions. However, there is a 3% fee on your donations that will go to the credit card company.
  2. Check: If you want to make sure that 100% of your donations go towards my trip, you can send a check to

Make the check out to Adventures in Missions but write “For Lucy Morgan” on the memo line to direct it to my account.
     3. Dynapay: If you are interested in donating on a monthly basis, you can set up a plan to
deduct funds automatically from your account. There are no fees. Visit http://www.adventures.org/dynapay/ and follow the instructions to set this up, and be sure to set an end date so it does not deduct from your account forever.
 
Please note that all donations are non-refundable. They are tax-deductible though! If you would like a receipt sent to you from a check donation let me know before you send the check so I can give you a fundraising card to send with it.
