I believe this may be a tad overdue, but better late than never right? So… hey! I am so excited you are here checking out my blog. As you can see, my name is Lucinda, but you can call me Lucy. I am 23 years old and currently residing in Birmingham, AL, where I work at The Children’s Hospital of Alabama. (I’m a nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.) I grew up in a wonderful Christian home in the oh so small town of Chatom, Alabama-population approximately 1200, and that might be a bit of an exaggeration. Let’s just say you probably only know where it is if you’re kin to someone from there! Wonderful place to grow up though, everyone knows you and claims you as family. I have one brother and one sister and a wonderful brother-in-law and sister-in-law who I will joyfully claim as family. I have two incredible, Godly parents whom I adore. They raised me to know the Lord and prayed for me until I came to love the Lord and have a personal relationship with Him, and for that I cannot say thank you enough. I attended college at Auburn University, (War Eagle!) before moving to Birmingham. I’ll tell you more about my personal relationship with the Lord and just how GREAT our God is in my “How I Got Here” post, but for now, here are a few more random facts about me.
