So this morning my team and I are leaving training camp in White, GA and making the 4 hour drive up to northern Tennessee. We are going up to get a week of prep in before we come back down to Atlanta and help out a team there. Then we will head back up to our site on June 14th to do some last minute things before our 1st of 7 weeks of groups coming in. We have roughly 320 teenagers coming to us in those 7 weeks. During this training camp we have learned what we will be doing. Each one of the 4 of us has specific jobs to do along with the jobs we all have a part in. Logan, has Adventure Camp which will be where the teenagers will learn some craft type things and do this alongside the kids in the community. Grace is our Head Coach and will be showing the teens drills that they can do with the kids. We will have a sport for each week. Elizabeth will be the Service Coordinator and be in charge of a little bit of all of that and some logistical stuff as well. I am the Project Leader and will be over seeing all those making sure the team is doing well. I also will be making sure the adult staff that comes with the teens are taken care of and loved on.
Adventures Youth is a place where we will be empowering the teens to do this on their own. We want them to see that they DO have a place. That they DO matter. That they CAN contribute to this world regardless of what the world may think or say about them. We want to give them a sense of contribution. So we will show them how and what to do and let them own it.
We are SUPER excited about this opportunity to leave an impact not just in the community but in over 300 teens that may never had the chance to be empowered to impact kids lives. Not by being told what to do, but by them just doing it.
I also need a some financial help to finish this. I still need about $400. ALL of this will go directly to me as I am getting paid in this job. If 8 people would support me by giving $50 I would be done. I ask that you pray and see if that is something you would be willing to partner with me in. If financially isn’t where you feel called to support me, prayer os just as important. This could be a long summer with that many people coming in. But we believe that God will give us what we need at the time we need it. But your prayers are definitely appreciated!

Oh and some things are churning for the future. Still very unknown but what I DO know is that my spirit is excited about it. So that is pushing me to listen to God in where he is directing me. So some prayers there would be great too. Just that I have the clarity to see what He is showing me and where things will be leading.
