I saw someone else quote a whole song and I liked that idea. this song had an impact to come of the kids at church camp and the words say so much. Even in this new journey I and all of us are about to embark on, it says it perfectly.

It’s time for healing time to move on

It’s time to fix what’s been broken too long
Time make right what has been wrong
It’s time to find my way to where I belong
There’s a wave that’s crashing over me
All I can do is surrender

Whatever you’re doing inside of me
It feels like chaos somehow there’s peace
It’s hard to surrender to what I can’t see
But I’m giving in to something heavenly

Time for a milestone
Time to begin again
Reevaluate who I really am
Am I doing everything to follow your will
Or just climbing aimlessly over these hills
So show me what it is you want from me
I give everything I surrender…
To…

Time to face up
Clean this old house
Time to breathe in and let everything out
That I’ve wanted to say for so many years
Time to to release all my held back tears

Whatever you’re doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but I believe
You’re up to something bigger than me
Larger than life something heavenly

Whatever you’re doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but now I can see
This is something bigger than me
Larger than life something heavenly
Something heavenly

It’s time to face up
Clean this old house
Time breathe in and let everything out

Now….about me.
My name is Lucas Tillman and I just joined the trip. MAN!
I am so pumped about this! This is just what I need. I have always felt
I have more to offer and wondered how I could find a way to find that
something.  Well I believe God just did. So HERE I COME!!

Lets see….about me……

I’m 28 and live alone with my 2 dogs. Lex is a boxer and Chloe is a english pointer/brittany mix.

I am a carpet installer and have been for about 10 years.
I’m an only child, but I am, very close to my cousins. So they get to be my “siblings” whether they like it or not.
I LOVE to take pictures. I have a nikon D50 with various little
toys for that. I am the friend that always has the camera taking
pictures when you don’t know.
I am very active at my church that I have been at my entire life.
I sing on the praise team and the choir. On a good sunday, there can be
up to 9 of my family member up there. I love those days.
I am a counselor at our association’s church camp. We have 2
weekend retreats. One in the spring and one in the fall. And one week
long camp in the summer. That’s my favorite place to be. Away from all
of life’s distractions and with those who love God. There’s no TV,
internet, cell phones, ipods, and no AC or heat.

I was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. I am still here…..would like to relocate someday.

I also love to ride my motorcycle. I have a 2006 Yamaha R6S.
Spending a nice day on this with some friends is about as good as is
gets.

Lets see…what else can I say that would be worth saying. I
mentioned that I sang in the choir, didn’t mention that I LOVE TO SING.
I am singing all the time. I love Mercy Me, Casting Crowns, Among the
Thirsty, Jeremy Camp, Sanctus Real, 33 Miles, December Radio, Chris
Rice, Switchfoot, and that’s just to name a few.
I also have a facebook if anyone wants to be friends on there. I
believe there are a few Lucas Tillmans on there. I am the one from
Kansas City. If you ask me just let me know you’re on the Jully 2010
trip!
Told you I like to take pictures. I have about 4,000 on my computer and that;s just a years worth!
Well I guess that;s a good start for now. I am so ready for this
trip and to meet all the people that are going with. We all have a
desire to help and I believe that God is going to open the floodgates
for us.

. I have
done my best to live by that and he has led me here. What great God we
serve!

I will leave you with my favorite scripture and also how I try t live my life.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust
in the LORD with all your heart  and lean not on your own
understanding;  in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your
paths straight.

And there should be a video below that I made from the pictures I took at our summer camp. Check it out if you’d like!
