Hey everyone,
After four plane rides, two buses, a 12 hour lay over in the Kenya airport and another bus to Malawi then another bus , we have finally made it to Chapata, Zambia. I’ve been staying in a church “Family Centre” with Pastors Jeff and Martha and can I say they make me feel so at home.
During the week we have been hitting the town telling all about the gospel, Jesus Christ. It’s been a bit hard to really communicate when they see us first as “white” or “potential wives” but one we greet them in their language, God has really used us to speak to them.
The language is called Nyanga

Monte Bonge means Greeting
Bwino means Am Fine
Zicomo means Thank You
And Ndi Newadula means I COST TOO MUCH( comes in handy when they’re trying to buy you)

Today we went and cleaned a Free Medical Clinic where they help care to the locals whether it’s by doing check ups for malaria, giving out medical supplies and caring for women who are about to go into labor. It’s been great so far! Can’t wait to see what else God is going to do with and through me!
