It amazes me how there are only three months or more specifically 113 days until I launch in January with my Squad Z team. Its crazy how God can bring out what was in your heart at the age of 9 twelve years later a passion you once had as a child.
From kindergarten all the way through college, the point of an education is not only to further expand your knowledge but also decide and build on your future career. Surprisingly, my first choice was to be a doctor, open my own private practice and travel the world helping all who couldn't afford to seek medical attention. When I was 9, I was exposed to the idea of a Missionary which in my eyes was someone who would leave their life, possessions and anything they've built up behind to help others that have less then nothing. Though the idea of being a doctor was a fantastic career, my passion to be a missionary was far greater. And now, here I am about to embark on an eleven country, eleven month journey and through the nerves, I'm ecstatic!
So here's to my future squad, I know I'll love my new family and I can't wait to see us turn this world upside down.
