Hello
Friends and Family,

I can’t
believe how quickly six months has gone by! By the end of November I
should be back in the States! Thank you so much for taking time to
read my blogs. When you leave comments its so very encouraging and it
feels like you’re on the Race with me! From my blogs you’ve read that
I’ve been growing spiritually and emotionally, but I’ve also gotten to see
and practice how different nations worship, witness, serve, preach,
and love the Lord and each other. Although these nations are worlds
apart, a relationship with the Lord is the sweet tie that binds us
together. We have been welcomed, blessed, prayed over, prophesied
over, encouraged, fed (spiritually and physically), and challenged.

….I’m
learning what it means to simply spend time in the Lord’s
presence
, not worrying about all that I am not, or what it means when it feels like my prayers don’t get very far, but just receiving
from Him and worshiping because He
is worthy
…I’m s l o w l y learning what it means to have
freedom and what that looks like for me…I’m learning to ask the
Holy Spirit what other people need to hear and to have the courage to speak…I’m learning that young women have been trying to get me
to mentor them for years but I never really understood what they wanted or
felt equipped to do it… and so many more things that you’ll be
happy to hear about!

During
our daily team times we worship, pray over ministry activities, share
struggles, prayer requests, ways that God is working on us, ways we
need to be challenged, etc. My team knows so much about me and
loves me too much to let me stay the way I am. Currently, my team has
discovered that I have a decent voice and I’ve accepted the challenge
to sing solo for them before the end of the month.

Here
are a few things on my heart right now:

  1. prayer
    requests-
my parents and sister’s family, their health,
relationships, and spiritual lives, while I’m away I tend to worry about them and all that I’m missing out on. I need to just trust that God is taking care of things and that I don’t have to worry; that God sends people behind us
to pick up where we left off in the lives of the people we’ve met
and for the many more in each nation that we may not have reached
with the hope of the Jesus; that I am willing and brave enough
to let God use me however He wants.

  2. My
    team members / T-Squad
    – its the end of 2nd month
with with Team Fuego and we’re growing together and intentionally
working out what its like to live in community. Its not always easy, but
its all worth it to be able to know that five other people know me
and still have my back, especially when my opposition is
    me
. My squad is hitting the halfway point and we need prayer to
remain strong individually and as a body. In the upcoming months,
many of us might start worrying about what is or isn’t waiting for
us at the end of the Race.

  3. financial
    support-
Okay, this is a big one…I’ m almost fully supported
financially!!! Some of you are sending money monthly through
November and that is a tremendous blessing, but beyond that I
    have to raise $1,600
by the July 1st deadline. Its
getting close but I know that God called me here and (Lord willing)
I’m not going home early! If God is tugging on your heart to
donate or increase your donation, it’s still possible, and I would be so
    thankful!
(The support link on the left under my profile picture
will send you to the right place.) You’ve sent me here through your
love, prayers and donations and I’m able to witness to people around
the world because of how you’ve already loved me and been a blessing to me!

I hope
you’ll see changes in me when I come back. I promise to blog more as well since I think we’ll have internet access more often next month, which is always helpful 🙂 Thank you for your prayers
and support!

Love,

Loretta
