Music has ALWAYS been able to touch my soul! That being said, when God requested that I allow Him to tell me what to pray through music, I was very intrigued! I had never done this kind of listening prayer before, especially with music. As I consider this prayer to be INCREDIBLY personal for me, I also feel as though the Lord has called me to share it with whomever God brings to read it. I hope my God-Sent prayer touches your heart as it did for me.

Heavenly Father,
I pray that you shape me into a bride who enjoys waiting for her Groom, and that I will be ready for You. I long for You – Your presence, Your heart, Your ears, Your eyes, Your compassion – in every way possible. I need You to soften my heart and break me apart. Open my eyes and help me see that You are shaping my life even when I can’t see all the details or understand in that moment. Give me the faith to trust what You say. I know that I am weak, but don’t let me forget that You’re Spirit is strong in me. My flesh fails, but God you never will!
As I am moved by the sound of Your voice, help me to follow You and not question it. No matter what will come my way, I want You to know that my soul will say, “Through it all, my eyes are on You.” Everything You allow to come my way, I will say, “It is well with me.” Even when my eyes can’t see the end, the big picture, or the point,
I pray – Let go my soul and trust in Him!! Holy Spirit reign in me! Holy Spirit, have Your fire burn within my soul as I call on Your name in the midst of the valley and from up on the mountain top. Introduce me to the revelations of Your love! All-consuming. Living water. River wild in me. Emerge me in Your mercy Oh Lord when I don’t choose to follow and trust in You!
As Your love, like wave after wave, crashes over me, give me Your strength to get me through the day. Help me call on Your son, the Champion of Heaven, when I’m struggling through this life. Through it all I will persevere, because You make me brave! You call me out beyond the shore into the waves. As a daughter of the Almighty King, no fear can hinder me. Fear is losing its ground to my hope in You! Impossible things in Your name shall be done, so I pray that You remind me daily that Your kingdom reigns unstoppable!!
Lord, there is no place I’d rather be, so please set a fire down deep in my soul that I can’t contain – that I can’t control. I want more of you and less of me! When I have no words to say and don’t know what I should pray, God I will need You. When my faith is tired and tears fill up my eyes, I will choose to trust You. Whatever ends up coming my way, You have taught me to say, “Amen. Let Your kingdom come.” Through the rise and fall, You’re the God above it all! You strengthen me again and again, so through it all, I will seek you!
Beginning now is my relentless pursuit to follow You! I won’t let go, and I won’t hold anything from You! I am not afraid to run after You! God I pray I run into You!
