Hey guys! I’m Logan from the beautiful rocky mountains in Carbondale, Colorado.

I love to ski, play soccer, and among many other sports i love to be outside enjoying beautiful blue powdered sky days with friends and family and my giant newfie/lab pup, Toby.

I am so excited to share with all of you the adventure I will be embarking on for the next nine months of my life. After getting an official acceptance onto World Race four days before training camp it has been a whirlwind of getting onto a float plane from my family vacation in the San Juan islands to two connection flights and then finally to Atlanta Georgia where my training would begin.

I will be honest, after I graduated in June from high school, I knew that a gap year was the right step for me. I felt I needed a break before entering into my college career. But…now i have had many doubts and fears and wonder, “What was I thinking??”

College sounds great now instead of heading to 4 different countries with people I don’t know for 9 months. So I guess you can say I’m dealing with some intense FEAR!!

But, one thing I know is that God is good…

With that in mind I have struggled to keep God at the center of my actions. This is a big step in my faith, but I cant wait to grow.

Experiencing the diverse cultures of places like Cambodia, Thailand, Malawi and Guatemala is something I have always been interested in doing. But even more through this time I hope to go deep into each community to bear the likeness of Jesus!
