Well I’m one step closer to starting this journey! My family and I arrived in Atlanta today and launch will begin tonight. As this journey has been drawing close I have been overwhelmed by the amount of support from family and friends. Everyone’s calls, texts, and messages have meant more than you’ll ever know. It’s such a blessing to know there are so many people here praying for my squad and I over this next year. So I say thanks to you all! Thanks to my family and friends for the constant love and encouragement yall have showed me! Y’all sure do know how to love!! Also, thanks to Lewis Lane, to Center Point Church, the UK BCM, and Fuge Camps which have been instrumental in my growth. I will continue to pray for each of you that your ministries may continue to bear much fruit!

Just a note about how I’m feeling. Yesterday my parents and I drove down to Carrollton, GA and somewhere between Owensboro and Carrollton I was overwhelmed. Overwhelmed with the fact that I’m gonna run into people over this next year and probably within the next month in which Im not gonna know what to say to them. I’m not gonna know how to comfort them. They may have a need that I have no idea how to fill. I suddenly had the feeling that I’m not sufficient. That in most situations I’ll have nothing to give (and not being able to provide for someone that needs something scares me). So why am I going? Well after a moment of panic, I was overcome with peace. A reassurance that though I personally have nothing, in Jesus I have everything and everything to give in the Word of life. He is sufficient. His grace is sufficient (2 Cor. 12:9). And because of this I can take my nothing and be confident in His everything. In His perfect love that casts out fear. In His grace. In His goodness. In The power that is in the trinity. So to racers and non racers be confident in The Lord! For that conversation, for the big decision coming up soon, for that person God has wanted you to reach out to. He will provide.

Excited to share this journey with y’all! We leave on the 9th!!
