This month has been just the strangest month of our race. It
seems like pretty much anything and everything crazy and random has happened
this month. I thought I would make a list of them so that you can get a peek
into our lives in Malaysia (I’ll start with the less funny ones so that you
don’t go crazy all at once):
-living in a small room with 10 people side by side when the
squad leaders visited us
-going for fellowship with people at the nicest house I have
ever set foot in in my entire life
-moving to a different location halfway through the month
-making our own schedule for ministry
-getting taken to dinner almost every night for the entire
month
-having an impromptu English class at our church/home with 10
Muslims
-getting invited into people’s homes for snacks and dinners
-preaching at six different churches total…4 in one day
-doing a skit for church which included the names Sammy
Sinner, Penelope Praise the Lord, and Regina Reads her Bible alot…and getting
requested to do it at least 5 additional times
-getting up a 6 am to watch the Super Bowl (on Monday)
-going to a food court and watching a Chinese talent show
complete with a Chinese Elvis
-going to a gym to take pictures with the owner (who trained
Mr Universe) and coming back to find out we locked the door and left the keys
inside, along with both of our phones
