I know I promised weeks ago to introduce you to my team. I’ve
been slacking. But no fear, I am finally getting around to giving you the
scoop. So here it is…
Our team name is team Cannonball. We all wanted to jump into
the next several months full force. We wanted to just dive and see where God
takes us. So we decided on Cannonball as our team name. AND the members of team
Cannonball are…
Erin Miller
(team leader)
Erin is pretty much the coolest person ever. She is from Texas and she just graduated from Texas A&M. She is the best listener ever and has this uncanny ability to get me to say anything and everything by asking just a single question. She is an awesome leader and we are all pretty pumped to have her for the next several months. Random fact: Erin and I saw each other at a wedding last summer before we left on the Race. Apparently we have mutual friends. Small world.
Tommy Chapman
Tommy is one of our amazing logistics guys on the squad. That means we love him because he gets us from country to country (along with Drew). He is from Louisiana and absolutely loves LSU. He is also probably one of the easiest people to talk to ever. He’s the type of person you automatically feel comfortable with.
Jenny Meunier
Jenny is our lovely Canadian on the team. We like to joke about it a lot. She gives some of the best massages ever, I’m pretty excited to get to live with her for the next several months. She also has the biggest servant heart of anyone I have ever known. If something needs to be done, Jenny will probably be there. She is also one of the most thoughtful people ever. She also has an absolutely beautiful voice.
Allie Elliot
Allie is probably one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met. She is just the sweetest person ever. She also has some incredibly powerful words to say. God has definitely given her a gift in that. And she loves making pie. She just made like 8 pies or something for Thanksgiving. AND she makes one every month. Am I glad she’s on my team? Um yes please!
Carl Prox
Carl is our drummer. He is pretty much always drumming something…whether it be a table, the air, or real drums. He also speaks some powerful words from the Lord. I just love his prophecies. He is definitely gifted at speaking life into people. And his passion for worship is something that makes a huge impact on the people around him. Its awesome.
Sarah Ball
Sarah is from Delaware. We like to say that she is the only person we’ve ever met from there, which is totally true. She got her degree in math and keeps asking us to let her teach us calculus. I had enough of that in high school though. She is one of the funniest people ever. She pretty much has the funniest stories of anyone on our team. She organized a 5T turkey trot for Thanksgiving. If you don’t know what that is, well, you just have to experience it.
So that is team Cannonball. We will be together for the next several months. Its so much different than my last team, LinC 10:10, but its so good. Its going to be a good next several months together. We have a lot of laughs, which just brings joy to the spirit.
Keep praying for us as a team to grow in relationship with each other and with God, for support raising, for health…we pretty much would just love any prayers you want to send our way.
