This is what Thanksgiving in the Philippines looks like:

6:30: Get up for the squad Turkey Trot (not me, of course, I was in my nice, comfortable bed)
7:13: Wake up and remember that I don’t have any ministry today…then go back to sleep.
8:01: Wake up for real and go eat breakfast
9:07: Facebook chat with best friends back home
11:49: Have a Dr Pepper that I somehow found in one of the malls in Manila
12:05: Have some family time that includes massage trains and the thankful game
12:47: Make my costume for the 5T Turkey Trot
1:04: 5T Turkey Trot! For those of you who don’t know, on a 5T you dress up in a Thanksgiving costume and run around the table 5 times. Its even better than a 5K. I was a pilgrim.
2:26: Get my hair done by Allie and my make up done by Jenny. Everyone was so dressed up and looking awesome. It was nice to feel like a girl for a change.
4:00: Time to go to THANKSGIVING DINNER!
4:28: Awkward family photo time
5:00: Eat the best and most food that I have had in months
6:28: Nap time/swimming party
All in all, a good Thanksgiving in Asia. We even had turkey. (Stay tuned to see our awkward family photos!)
