We’ve been in Rwanda for a few days now. It is so beautiful
here. We live in a small village outside of Kigali. Its nice not being in a big
city this month. I love the feel of the village. We see the same people every
day and its not as crazy as the city is.

Our first day of ministry was yesterday. We are going to get
to teach English to the children in nursery school. They are preparing to go to
primary soon so we are helping teach them every day. I have been wanting to
learn how to teach English so I’m pretty excited about it. Plus, the children
are absolutely precious.

We are also going to do evangelism in the afternoons. We
haven’t actually started that ministry yet, but we will next week. Last night
we taught a baptism class and today we are going to the baptisms of some young
adults. It seems that our month will be mostly teaching and evangelism. We are
pretty excited about it.

Today on our way home from the nursery school, we went by
the World Vision office in Kabuga. It was exciting to get to see the office for
a program that a lot of us are a part of. We got to see all the mothers of the
sponsored children outside. It is really awesome to get to see the work that
they are doing. Its totally different than just looking on the internet in
America to get information.
