So its finally April! Time is going by so fast. I feel like the semester just started and now we are only 5 weeks from graduation. (not mine, but all my friends) Here is a break down of where I am, where I want to be, and what I have planned for the next few weeks.
As of right now I have raised:
$5,275.50
which leaves $9,524.50 left to raise!
(That is less than $10,000!)
That is also roughly 35% of the total cost.
AND I only have $724.50 to go to reach my next deadline!
For all of you supporters out there, these are my deadlines:
By May 7 – $3,000 (which I have thanks to you!)
By July 18 – $6,000 ($724.50 to go!)
By November 1 – $10, 500 ($5,224.50 to go!)
By February 1 – $14,800 ($9,524.50 to go!)
My goal is to be at $10,500 by the time I leave in August. That is one deadline ahead of schedule. I am thinking and praying right now about fasting from something until I reach that goal. I haven’t decided if I am really called to do that yet.
Now that I have a lot more free time, I am working on a lot of fundraisers. I just sent out reminders to potential supporters and I am having a garage sale this Saturday. If you are in the Abilene area this weekend, stop by my house! I am also still selling Threads of Hope bracelets for $2 each. I have thought about selling shirts but I have not decided yet. Feedback on that is appreciated! Some friends have suggested doing a concert as well, but I just don’t know if I could pull that off. Any other fundraising ideas would be appreciated!
