As of right now I am 21% funded. Within the past week I have gotten a knife, iPod touch, tent, and my traveler’s insurance covered. What a blessing! I am almost financially ready for training camp which is July 14th–which is my first deadline. Dum dum dum. By training camp I need to have at least $3,500 in my account. If not then….well let’s not think about that yet.
When I was first accepted to the World Race I knew that raising support was going to be my least favorite part but it kinda comes with the territory of being a missionary. So I’ve stolen (with permission) an idea from a fellow squad member.
I only need $250 more to reach my deadline so I am officially inviting you to join my 11 event. Each month on the 11th I will be asking for $11 until I am fully funded. Why the 11th you ask? Because I am taking the love of Christ to 11 countries in 11 months. Get it now?
So if you are willing to participate please do the following:

2. Share the event with your friends via twitter, facebook etc etc.
