I am sitting in a coffee shop in L’viv Ukraine and getting ready to head to Ville Tecii, Romania (a small gypsy village near Bistrita).  I am so excited to finally be in a village!  A team from another squad was just there, and you can see some of their experience here.  My team has been in Lutsk, Ukraine doing ministry this past month.  In many ways it was a slow month of ministry and a time for us to learn how to be a family (as we had been separated for quite some time – a month and a half – after just being put together).  We spent time making Ukrainian friends and taught English to some adorable 9-10 year old girly-girls once a week.  Marisa, Abby, and I also spent a lot of time at a clinic where physical therapists give those who are physically handicapped treatment for free.  There I got to participate in what Marisa calls “awkward evangelism” by forming a friendship with my chiropractor, Victor, who did everything he could to get my neck and back into proper alignment.  The Lord has also been doing wonderful but hard things in my heart, so much of this month was the beginning of working through those things (more on that soon).  I can’t believe we are heading into month eight!  Please continue to keep us in your prayers!
