Hi all!
 
There is a class called Perspectives that I have been dying to take, but it was not offered in Charlotte this summer (maybe you’ll be lucky enough to have one offered near you:  http://www.perspectives.org/site/pp.aspx?c=eqLLI0OFKrF&b=2806295 !  Christ Covenant in Charlotte offered a class this past Spring).  So instead of taking the class, I ordered the books and have been teaching myself.  I’m sure its not as good as if I were in a classroom being taught by missionaries, but its the next best thing.  Perspectives is a class on the World Christian Movement, and is taught from a Biblical, Historical, Cultural, and Strategic perspective.  It is about understanding the why and how of missions, to see how God has been working in all nations since the beginning of time and to understand how to be most effective for His glory. 
 
Each week I will be summarizing and noting key points that stuck out to me as I study.  Here are the topics in case you are interested in seeing what is to come:
