This week we have been hosting an Easter VBS with the children of Viile Tecii. We have been gathering together to sing, play games, make crafts, and most importantly teach them about Jesus and His death and resurrection.
The children have been so excited to come and participate in the VBS each day! Today, our final day, we had a huge Easter celebration for all of the kids. It was complete chaos, but they absolutely loved it!! Here are some highlights of the big celebration:
FACE PAINTING
The kids were so excited to have their faces painted! They kept running back trying to add more and more paint to their faces.
But of course face painting is NOT just for the kids!!
We tried to play games to keep the kids entertained while waiting to get their faces painted, however they were too excited to stay focused on any of the games they usually love. The only thing that seemed to work in keeping their attention was when I created an accidental dogpile with all the kids piled on top of me. That kept them entertained!
EASTER EGG HUNT
Each kid was allowed to find 3 eggs. They loved hunting for the eggs and then comparing thier egg designs when they were finished.
