Now that our lauch date is only 3 days away, I have been thinking a lot about the things that I am going to miss at home and the things I am anticipating about life on the Race. Here are my top 10 (Kaysi I thought of you in my list making)
Top 10 Things I’ll miss here… (in no particular order)
1. My amazing family & friends
2. Worshipping at Mount Paran
3. My super comfy bed
4. My 1/2 caf triple grande 3 pump vanilla nonfat xxxdry cappuccino from Starbucks (I don’t think I can explain all of that in another language)
5. Being able to communicate with people easily
6. Freedom of having my own car
7. Hot showers daily
8. High heels and lots of clothing options
9. Air conditioning
10. Fast internet
Top 10 Things I’m excited about… (again, in no particular order)
1. My views of God being challenged and expanded
2. Loving on orphans worldwide- they have captured my heart!
3. Adventures (Climbing volcanoes, bungee jumping in South Africa, etc.)
4. Returning to Africa… finally
5. True community living
6. Never knowing what to expect next
7. Diving into cultures everywhere
8. Living out my dream of traveling the world
9. Seeing the Bible come to life across the nations and in my life
10. Falling more in love with the Lord and His precious children
It’s going to be an INCREDIBLE year and I can’t wait to get started!!
