Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog to learn a little bit about who I am.
My name is Lisa Meyers and I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In no particular order here is some random information I’d like to share with you about myself.
– I am an only child; I was raised by my mom; and I am 30 years old; my family and friends are huge cornerstones in my life and I don’t know what I would do without them
– I am stubborn (though persistent sounds better), fiercely loyal, opinionated, and free spirited
– I have spent time living in Winnipeg, Manitoba; St. John’s, Newfoundland; London, England; Seoul, South Korea; and Vancouver, BC. I love travelling and have been fortunate to have traveled already to 25 different countries
– I am an elementary school teacher and I used to be a marine animal educator for the Vancouver Aquarium; I have attended 5 different universities and have 2 degrees. A B.Ed and a B.Sc with a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology
– This past summer I started up my own photography business

– I love hockey, almost to an obsessive point, but don’t ask me my favourite player because I follow teams more than I follow players
– My hobbies include camping, running, singing, snowboarding, learning to surf
– I have a huge range of musical taste; everything from classical, to Rod Stewart and Elton John, to Bon Jovi and Guns n’ Roses, to P!nk and Hedley, to Taylor Swift and Garth Brooks, to Hillsong and Chris Tomlin
– I like reading fictional mysteries
– Some of my favourite movies are The Little Mermaid, Frozen, Rent, and Romeo and Juliet
– Some of my favourite tv shows include The Young and The Restless, Grey’s Anatomy, Glee, The Americans, Chasing Life, and Gilmore Girls
– Weird Facts: My elbows are double jointed and I am left handed
That’s me in a nut shell! My friends think I am a pretty cool chick so I hope you decide to stick around and follow me as I go on this adventure called life and head out in ministry with the World Race!
