Manila,
Philippines Month 3 Debrief worship night
While literally lying
on the floor of the JCCV, I got this vision of myself:
I was also lying down on my back, but outside
in a field of grass. God kept saying “Rise up, Rise
up“… but instead of ME
literally standing up, the ground around me rose. I lay there closer to God
than I was before.
All we have to do is REST in Him and BE
obedient.
I
fought God. “I don’t want to be put up here on display as if it’s for my own glory”. And he brought me back to
1 Corinthians 11 where it talks about being put on display, and how we are mocked, and slandered yet we have TEN
thousand angels on our side.

This time I got a
vision while sitting in a chair. I asked God “What do you want me to do?
Stand up and look around.
I’ve already raised you up, risen you above the rest, set you apart.
Open your eyes and see. See where God has brought you. See it! Stand up
for the kingdom Lisa. Throw off all fear, pride, and sinful desires. Start running, flying, paddling for the kingdom,
in the kingdom. And once you do it,
don’t think its all about you, BECAUSE ITS NOT. It’s ME who gave you legs to stand
on, arms to hold out. It’s ME who gave you breath.

Through these visions God is telling me to
rise up as a humble leader. This season of the World Race is a time to pursue
leadership without a title. It is a time to become humble, to quiet my ego, to
become a selfless servant by following Jesus and leading His people.
