Just around the river bend
the New Zealand experience (it is too awesome for words). The greens are greener
and the blues
are bluer. The forest is luscious and
the people are sweet as.

It’s
a bit one of a kind in fact.
Here
are a few things however my team and I are learning… despite living like we are
“on holiday”:
receive blessings. Kiwis are the most laid
back, down-to-earth, hospitable
people on the planet. Let me try to explain… remember that part on Lord of
the Rings where the hobbits want a break from hiking and Pip asks about breakfast, second breakfast, elevenzies, lunch, afternoon
tea, dinner, and supper? Yeah… New Zealand is a lot like that, so chill.
ourselves to bask in the Lord’s provision. Yet, at the same time we must remember
the rest of our year may not be so easy. The following is a picture of me being the egg in a trampoline game.
Second, I finally realized that the
world race isn’t for everyone. Following afternoon tea yesterday, property team
gave us the daunting assignment: get in the river and “pull” what I like to
call “riverweed” to help the kayaking
campers to not get stuck. We excitedly put on our “togs” (swimsuits), jumped on
the trailer and rode down to the river.
Now
not everyone would hop in a freezing cold river (with
leeches and eels) and blindingly reach down and pull up an arm full of fish bait smelling “riverweed” bush (imagine tumbleweeds of seaweed)
then shove it downstream. However, with little complaining and a lot of will
power, Wrecked 52:7 filled an entire
trailer with “riverweed”.
What’s
next for the kingdom?
Zealand is still sweet as. See for yourself.
