The Kingdom reigns: A letter
to my supporters and followers.
The first way you can support God’s kingdom is by putting your life into the injustice.
Bring
“thy kingdom
come” now because it is bringing His reign over His people.
How? Pray. Keep the injustices in front
of you. Watch movies like Slumdog Millionaire, Kite Runner, Osama,
Invisible Children, 3points.
We are wired to forget the world. However we must come on our faces
everyday. Put aside our baggage, our worries, and move forward, if not for ourselves,
for the Kingdom of God.
“Moreover, as you
Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when
I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving
and receiving, except you only; for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent
me aid again and again when I was in need. Not that I am looking for a gift,
but I looking for what may be credited to YOUR account. I have received full
payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I have received from
Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable
sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will meet all YOUR needs according to
his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”

Let me rephrase.
As you my followers know, when I first signed up for the race,
first set out to raise $13,800, not one church supported me to give or receive,
except you. YOU, individuals, donated and prayed, again and again. Right now I
am not looking for another gift, I want to see the blessing in YOUR lives. I
have received enough to leave in January for New Zealand, I have all my
supplies, now that I have received the money you sent to AIM. This is an amazing
sacrifice of your monies; YOUR account will multiply. My God will bless you for
eternity.
Do
not feel guilty about staying home and not joining me on my adventure. God
blesses those who stay home. Read on…
1 Samuel 30:21-24
“Then David came to
the two hundred men who had been too exhausted to follow him and who were left
behind at the Besor Ravine. They came out to meet David and the people with
him. As David approached, he greeted them. But all the evil men and
troublemakers among David’s followers said ‘because they did not go out with
us, we will not share with them the plunder we recovered. However, each man may
take his wife and children and go,’ David replied, ‘No, my brothers, you must
not do that with what the Lord has given us. He has protected us and handed
over to us the forces that came against us. Who will listen to what you say? The share of the man who stayed with the
supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle. All will
share alike.’ David made this a statute and ordinance for Israel from that
day to this. ”
So just because I am going into battle for the Lord,
and you may be staying back with the family, our share in the Lord’s provision
is the same. Those who followed David but chose not to go to the frontlines are
blessed equally as those who follow me but chose to stay back.
