Here are some pictures from our month in Swaziland.. Continue to pray for this country and that the needs are met for these sweet people.
The beautiful landscape of Swaziland.. Cannot get much better than this!
At the care point (where children come to get their only meal for the day) we taught the children to play baseball.. Heaven!
The “clean” water from a care point.. The children drink this water and if there are bugs in it they just pick them out.
The “chalk board” in one of the care points in Swaziland.. The mother’s come to learn about basic material like math and reading.
Hiking up the beautiful mountains in Swaziland on our off day and PRAYING we didn’t see any snakes! God was faithful!
Ancient rock paintings our squad leader found while hiking up the mountain..AMAZING to see
Children who come to the care point bring sticks to support the fire that cooks their food everyday.
The simple things in life are what matter.. These children have joy playing, running, and love being held by strangers!
SOOO I HAD to buy a globe to show the children where they were in the world and where I was from and it is also a great ball too! 🙂 Sometimes I just cannot escape the teacher in me.
One of my favorite pictures.. I do not even need to say more than that!
My FAVORITE part of one of our days.. A care point getting water at the care point instead of walking miles to get water. The children and women ran to see the truck, jumped up and dawn, and started dancing they were so happy! Things like this really change a person!
Thanks for looking at my picture blog! I head for Asia in 1 week and then will be home in about 13ish weeks! I cannot believe how fast time is going! God bless and thanks again for ALL your prayers and support!
Love, Lins
