Throughout my time in Ecuador God has been showing me to accept blessings and give up my own agenda. For example, this month we have been staying in host families houses and have been blessed with a bed, WARM shower, and a washing machine. This was not what I was expecting my first month of living. Therefore, the expectations that I thought I didn’t have coming into the race… revealed that I did. My expectations that I had coming on the World Race was that I would be serving others and living in not the best living situations. Meanwhile, taking many blessings with that mindset is pretty tough. I had to find ways to show the family that I was staying with that I appreciated all they have blessed me with. It was showing them in small ways like making my bed, doing my dishes, and offering to help out in any way possible. God has taught me to be thankful in all situations if they meet my expectations or not!

1 Chronicles 16:8
Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done

Thanks for your constant prayers and support! I love you all!
