On my “unwritten” world race bucket list is to go to an elephant jungle sanctuary!!
This place is designed for elephants to roam freely. Believe it or not but an elephant back is not designed to be ridden on. These elephants are bought from riders. An average elephant is sold for $80,000. The proceeds are used to buy more elephants from riders and buy more land for the elephants.
Our team spent two day at an Elephant Jungle Sanctuary in Chang Mai, Thailand. We feed, bathed, and played with the elephants.
