During the month of March, I have the amazing blessing of serving at Valenzuela Christian School, a private Christian school that minsters to children from nursery school through the completion of high school. This school is truly a bright light in the very urban area in which it is located. It has outstanding academics and teaches children strong Christian ethics.
One of our main service projects for the school is to clean, organize and redo their school library. Most of the books are out dated textbooks, and there are very few pieces of children’s literature.
It is so important to encourage children to read starting at a young age, and that is why I am trying to raise money to purchase new children’s literature!
