As of March 31, 2013 I have $4590.51 in my World Race Account and a $2400 donation in mail from First Presbyterian Church of Ashland, putting my total amount raised at $6990.51 (or 45.1%)!!! This means I get to leave in July and am guaranteed to stay on the Race through Ireland, Romania, and Ukraine!
My original goal was to reach $6500 by the time I graduate (May 11th), but God allowed for me to reach this goal early! Because of this, here are some of my new goals!
- Reach $10,000 by the time that I graduate.
- Meet my third deadline ($11,000) by the end of May.
- Be fully funded before leaving for the Race in July!
Here are some things I am working on this month:
- Starting a monthly newsletter to keep people updated on the fundraising process now and my journeys on the Race.
- I will begin collecting my mason jars full of change towards the end of this month.
- Working on a 48 fundraising-a-thon packed full of exciting Fundraisers.
- I am looking into hosting a spaghetti dinner.
- Planning a Bike-a-thon and getting friends, family, and businesses to sponsor a bike ride along the coast of Lake Michigan.
