We leave for Panama today! After three days of saying goodbye to my parents, more training, and strategizing how to budget our meals I am ready for this.
I am overwhelmed and humbled by the love poured out as I prepare to go. I am FULLY FUNDED!!!! What a special gift and miracle. Thank you so much for generously giving through your prayers and financial support!
Three weeks ago, I had been praying specifically to have an opportunity to work with special needs somewhere along the 11 months. I found out a week later that I would be working with deaf children, building a school, and spreading the gospel to the indigenous tribes. God is so good and faithful. I am so excited to see the kingdom spread in panama!
As we prepare to leave today I lift up this prayer for our squad by Mother Teresa –
“Dear Jesus, Help us to spread your fragrance everywhere we go. Flood our souls with your Spirit and life. Penetrate and possess our whole being so utterly that our lives may only be radiance of yours. Shine through us and so be in us that every soul we come in contact with may feel your presence in our soul. Let them look up and see no longer us but only You. Stay with us and then we shall begin to shine as you shine, so to shine as to be light to others. The light, O Jesus, will be all from you. None of it will be ours. It will be you shining on others through us. Let us thus praise you in the way you love best by shining on those around us. Amen. “
