Dear Momma,
I know you are not one for public displays of anything. And while I respect your privacy, I also kind of don't. Because you are AMAZING, and I want the whole world to know it.
So I wrote you this poem:
You've always meant the world to me, this I know is true.
You taught me and loved me oh so much, plus you bought me really great shoes.
You sacrificed to give me more and you put up with all of my drama.
I cannot thank you nearly enough, you are one heck of a momma.
Happy Mother's Day, momma. I want you to know that although I've been traveling the world and living quite an adventure this past year, I still think about you every single day.
I used the classroom techniques that you taught me with my English class in Cambodia. I used the creativity I got from you to help give great Christmas gifts to my teammates in Malaysia. I recommended honey and lemon tea to some of my Romanian friends who were sick. You constantly seep out of me and as a result, YOU have blessed people all over the world.
Thank you for teaching me all that you have. Thank you for loving me with all of your heart. And thank you for giving me an amazing life. I'm so grateful for you, and I hope you know how much you mean to me. And if you ever doubt it, ask my team because they will tell you just how often I brag about you.
Happy Mother's Day from Ukraine! I love you so so much!
