I find myself struggling to write a blog about Romania but here is a quick update on last month.
Romanian was a different month for me. Instead of being out and about talking about Jesus, playing with kids, or doing manual labor. I was inside, sitting at my computer, building a website for our contact. I enjoyed it but I don’t have any interesting stories to tell you about.
Another reason Romania was different was because we found out our travel plans back to the States…. I’ll be landing at JFK May 30, 2014 so you all know. I really didn’t think getting this information would be a big deal. I haven’t really thought about home much since starting the race … I was a bit wrong. For the first time on the race I really started thinking about home to the point of almost being homesick.
Also, last month focusing on the ministry was hard because I started to think about what life after the race might look like. I’m trying to plan out what I should do, but it’s too soon to plan anything which kind of drives me crazy. I wanted to know what I’m doing and start planning the next step.
So I do have some prayer request if you wouldn’t mind praying for me:
1) To be fully funded. I’m $470 away from being fully funded. SSOOOOO CLOSE!!! My birthday is in 9 days and I’m praying that I’m funded by then. (April 26th)
2) What the next chapter looks like. There are lots of different things I could do. I could go back to Colorado and go back to life there. I could do CGA in the fall (its a program AIM for after the race). I could teach english abroad. Or, I could … I don’t know…. do anything. ha ha. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated.
