Thailand was amazing. It was great for the first country. the whole squad was together. Which was awesome and at times difficult.  You had 46 people to hang out with at almost anytime of the day when you wanted to hang out. And when you just wanted some alone/quite time there where 46 people constantly in your face. So getting alone time became quite interesting. One example would be after going to every alone spot I could think of i ended up sitting on my bed with a scarf over my face so I could 'be alone'.  It was really great praying, worshiping and living as a squad. I wonderful getting to know my squad mates. We learned a lot from one another and it was a nice month of transition into the world race.

Our ministry partner Emmi and her whole staff were so gracious with us. They made us amazing food twice a day. Making sure their curry was toned down, helping us with the thai culture and always laughing at us. Thailand really is the land of smiles.
