Kitale children

We are staying in an orphanage outside of Kitale, Kenya, with 34
adorable children. They range in age from 1-16 and each of them is unique and
has a story of how they got to the orphanage. These children are a delight and
a blessing. Every morning we get to be with them and they rejoice to spend some
time with us. They sing songs with us, and play games, and will do anything
just to be close to us.

The 6 of us -Libre- are living in 2 rooms (the 5 girls in
one and Mark in the other-lucky duck). We eat more than our fill at most meals
and are very well taken care of, as are the orphans we are ministering to. We
spend some of our days with the children and some visiting villages near
pastor’s homes to encourage church members and meet new neighbors. This is more
of a challenge to me as I wish to spend all of my time loving the children.
Next week we are planning a Christmas camp for them! We will do the regular
camp thing with songs and games and it should be really fun and a blessing to
the kids.
