Her photo is the background of my phone AND my computer. I still share stories of my time with her. And I cannot wait to see her in a few short weeks.
But the truth is, my heart isn’t just for her anymore… It is for every single kid at Sarah’s Covenant Home.

Ruthie, who is super happy one moment and will pout the next and cry out for her “Akka” (sister).
Judah, who is so smart and helpful. He doesn’t have a disability and I am desperate for him to be more and see more.
Andrew, who runs like a duck and is quite the little charmer.
Melanie, who will use her feet to lift up your skirt, and then burst into a laughter that sounds like little bells
Asher, who I saw so much growth in the last time I was at SCH
Rhoda, who says things that no one understands but it cracks us up anyways

I firmly believe that these kids see God, and through just being themselves, they reveal part of God’s character to the rest of us.
I cannot wait to see what God has in store for my third visit to SCH. I cannot wait to see those kids. I am excited to officially be one of their advocates.
